1 month to go and Logan will be ONE!!!

gramps house. My dad took this while they were watching him one night so I could go to a movie. I think they are adorable. He is starting to look like a little boy and not a baby! He also now has his two front teeth, and just like his mommy, gramps and great gramps, has a gap in between his two front teeth! It is pretty darn cute right now! He is going to be a little Dickens' after all!

Just 1 more month and Logan will be 1! His birthday is on Thursday, January 24, 2008, but we are going to have his party on Saturday the 26th at my mom and dad's house! I cannot wait and hopefully all of our family and friends will be in town for it! Logan is also starting to walk more and more each day and is getting really good. I know by his birthday he will be an old pro.

He is cutting some new tooth this week and has been a little out of sorts, but is still not bad at all...we really are lucky that we have such a great baby and I am convinced it is because we have kept moving even with Logan...we never just hung out at the house because we had a baby...we bring him everywhere and include him in everything we do (whether he likes it or not, ha!). Anyway, I really think it has helped him to grow into a good baby! We are very lucky!

Christmas Day!

Here are a few of my favorites from the day! I just love this time of year!! Next milestone...Logan's 1st Birthday--less than a month!!! We cannot wait!

Merry Christmas! Logan's first!

Logan made it through his 1st Christmas! It was a huge success and he got tons of great presents...we really need to move into our new house NOW!!! We have so many toys we had to immediately take down the tree last night when we got home to fit in all of the toys. His favorite was the pony he got from my parents which he loves to ride on! It is very cute! We had a great time at my mom and dad's new house and celebrated Logan's first xmas as well as thier first xmas in Austin! It was a great one. Next year, Xmas will be at our new house and hopefully both families will be able to enjoy it with us!

My 25th Birthday! I am a quarter of a century old!

Today was my 25th birthday! It was spent with my whole family including my aunt and cousin. We went to the mall, to dinner at PF Changs and then just hung out at our house for a while. It is hard to believe I am 25! Looking forward to XMAS!!!

Well, it finally happened! Tony proposed to Nikki last night in downtown Ft. Worth in front of the Christmas tree! The ring was gorgeous and came from the same jeweler mine did and they are both so excited! We are thrilled to be a part of thier new life as husband and wife too!

We celebrated Christmas with Stan's family last weekend in Fort Worth also. Logan got lots of goodies included a tricycle and a Little People Noah's Ark set. He was not too interested in the presents, but loved playing with them once they were unwrapped and out of the box. His favorite part was hitting the botton on top of the nativity scene to play the music! He was too cute! He gave out lots of kisses and hugs and was just a joy to have around. I know Stan's family enjoyed having him there for the night and had a good time chasing his little hiny around!!

We were able to go to Fort Worth this weekend and stay with our good friends, Stacy, Nathan and Dylan Roach for a few days. We really enjoyed seeing them and spending a whole night with them at thier home. It was a lot of fun to see them and watch Logan and Dylan play together. We really miss them and enjoy every second we get to spend with them. It is so nice to have a friend who understand the trials and tribulations of raising a little boy--and JOYS of course! I Don't know what I would do without Stacy and Nathan to turn to when I have a baby question! They also made us a great DVD of Logan's first year! It was so awesome to see and I cried! It really is a great thing they did for us and it is my favorite gift!

A day at Gramma and Gramps!

Logan spent all day Monday at Gramma and Gramps house so daddy could get our garage cleaned out...we are in fast and furious clean up mode at the house, because we will be putting it on the market after the new year and buying a new home out by my parents! We are sooo excited!!! Anyway, he had a great day with his grandparents and played with Uncle Mark all day and took a 3 hour nap on grandma which she just loved!!! He is such a good baby and is so fun to be around right now! We went over there for dinner last night to pick him up and he was catnapping on gramps again--too sweet! Tonight we are going to try and make it out to the Zilker Trail of Lights if it is nice outside--we will take lots of pictures there!

Our Little Santa Claus

My boss had a holidays party on Friday night and Stan, Logan and I went with my parents. Logan, of course, was dressed up as Santa Claus and was just too adorable. He really is such a great baby and we are so lucky to be his parents! Tasha and Adam were also there and it was so good to see them!

Logan started walking!!!

So, this week Logan has started walking! He was taking a few steps last week but this week he is able to take 4 and 5 steps at a time before he gets too excited and falls over! It is so funny! He spent the day at gramma and gramps house today and I am sure he got a lot of practice in! I am going to try and get it on video tonight so I can share it with everyone! He is getting so big, so fast! 10 months old and already walking!

Logan's Xmas Shoot

We had Logan's photo taken in his Xmas outfits...1 that we bought for him and one from each of the grandmas! They turned out pretty cute, but I must admit that it is a lot harder to get a good photo of him now because all he wants to do is get up and go!

Here are a few of my favorites! I cannot believe Christmas is right around the corner...and then right after that Logan will turn one! This time last year, I was plus 60 pounds and in anticipation of our little bundle of joy! My how time flies!

Logan's 1st Vick Family Christmas

Every year, Stan's entire family including his cousins and grandparents, get together at one of the families homes to celebrate the Holidays together. This year it was in San Antonio at Uncle Scott and Aunt Tiffany's home and it was Logan's first time to meet most of Stan's family. We had a great time and Logan got lots of goodies and most importantly got to spend a whole day with his Nana and Papa who live in Big Spring. It was a special day and it was great to see 4 generations of strapping Vick men together under one roof!
